I am in my 22nd week. I am doing very well. I think this pregnancy is harder but I think that is because I have a very active two year old I am chasing around. We are so excited to be having a girl. Alex is also excited (or so he thinks) to be having a little sister. We are slowly getting ready for the new arrival. Since it is so hard to know exactly when I will be having this baby we don't want to be unprepared when she comes. I am hoping to make it to 36 weeks. I go in a couple days to see how the growth is going for our little girl. I will be going every 4 weeks for growth ultrasounds. My big ultrasound a month a go everything was great with the growth but they want to keep on top of it. Hopefully we will know a little more this ultrasound because my placenta is on top of the baby which is not very good. They are hoping that it will move. We still have lots of time. Either way I am going to have a c-section so it won't matter too much.
Alex is getting so big. He is talking so much. He loves watching movies including Cars, Thomas the Train, Toy Story etc. I can't wait for it to get warmer so he can get outside more. I think he can't wait to be outside more also. We are getting a few more warm days. Not only is he talking more but he is talking back more. I don't love the word "no." He says it often. He is having a little bit of a hard time not getting everything he wants. I am confident he will grow out of it. Pretty sure it better be soon though. We are kind of working on potty training. I really would like him to be potty trained before the baby comes because when the baby comes I will only have a few months to get him ready for pre-school. He isn't super interested. He knows when he needs to go but he doesn't want to take the time to do it. We have tried bribery, but he isn't buying it. Till next time.

July 2011
In July our little family is going to grow by 1. We are excited to welcome a new little one in July of 2011. Well at least that is the hope. I am about 14 weeks pregnant and feeling good. It was extremely wonderful that we got pregnant when we did. It will be so fun to have a new one in our home. We have wanted a new little one for a while. Heavenly Father knows exactly when these little ones need to come to our homes and ours should be arriving around mid July. I am thinking it will be more like mid to end of June, but I can hope for July. We are definately going to find out what we are having but that won't be until the end of Feb. We are hoping for a girl but we will take whichever girl or boy. Two of my sister-in-laws are also expecting this summer. It will be so nice to have some other cousins for this new little one. Alex has plenty of cousins his age. 5 in one year to be exact and he loves to play with them. Also our ward is exploding with new babies this spring and summer meaning more friends for this new little one. I will be going to the doctors next week to see how things are going. I went last week to the cardiologist and everything looks great. My pressures are the same as they were when I was pregnant with Alex which means my pulmonary hypertension is very mild. When I was pregnant with Alex my pressures actually decreased. So hopefully the same will happen again. Again we are super excited to add to our family.
In other news Alex is doing great. He is talking so much it is great. Last night I was listening to him play and he was able to count to 9 without any help. If I help him he can count to 15. As many people know Alex is extremely active and doesn't have a lot of time to learn things but he is a smart little one. He will ask me to fix or do something if I can't then he says he will either ask his daddy or pop-pop because they can do everything in his eyes. He is already getting a little spring fever which is going to be hard since we still have a few months of winter left. He does keep himself entertained with watching his Thomas the train movies, Elmo and others. But we are excited for the weather to warm up and to play outside with friends. Till next time.

Christmas Post
I suppose a Christmas post is in order. Better late than never right. I actually took some pictures of Alex and the ones that aren't fuzzy from him moving are quite cute. Christmas Eve we went to my mom and dad's and had dinner. Alex was able to open his presents then and he got lots of Thomas the Train tracks and movies. He got some clothes too but the hit of the night was his Thomas the train toothbrush and he "puter" as he calls it. Pop-Pop picked out a little leapfrog computer which he loves. The next morning we slept in till 9 am. Wonderful I say. When we got up Alex opened his presents. Santa got Alex a little dvd player and blocks. We got him a Chuggington track and some trains to go with his Thomas and Chuggington sets. He also got plenty of movies and toys. Here are some pics from those two events above.
One day I'll figure out how to really blog until then I'll improvise. Christmas afternoon we went to my dad's so Alex could see them before they went to dinner. He got some cool Dr. Seuss books, a cool outfit, and a puppy -stuffed animal dog. So fun. He had more fun going outside and exploring. Then we went back to my parents for ham dinner and the other grandkids got to open presents. Our final stop was Chris' parents were we visited. We are extremely blessed and had a wonderful holiday.
